End of Year Planning
Set a Goal
Planning is important. It's even more important when your financial assets are involved. We understand this need and are ready to help you make sure everything goes as expected. End-of-year planning is the best way to prepare for your next fiscal year. When tax season comes, we can help you make sure you get the most out of your tax return.
As you business plan for next year, look back on this year and ask yourself these simple questions:
Did I meet my financial goals?
Did I meet my non-financial goals, including personal goals?
If not, what put me off course?
More importantly, what can I do now to get closer to where I want to be?
Where Do I Start?
In the late fall, you have just about a month of effective work time left in the calendar year. This is a really good time to think about the past 10-11 months and schedule time to plan for next year. By now, you probably have a good sense of where your business will end up financially by year end.
Reflecting on you past successes and shortcomings is the best way to create a solid plan to grow your business next year.
